Since I was young I knew that I would be a pastor. I asked questions and pursued answers concerning the things of God. In my senior year at Issaquah High School I clumsily dedicated my life to follow Christ. After a year at Bellevue Community College I knew I had to seek answers from God’s Word. I attended Simpson College, Northwest College, and the Lutheran Bible Institute, and eventually finished at Crown College in Minnesota with a BA in Bible and Theology in 1977. After serving in a number of churches in various capacities I began the Renton Christian Fellowship with the help of several individuals. Today almost thirty years later my wife and family are still blessed to serve here. A few years ago (2009) I completed a Doctor of Ministry program at Bakke University in Seattle. Presently I am a bi-vocational pastor working as a carpenter. My hope is to please the Lord and be a blessing to the people of God by building wisely. “By wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established and by knowledge it is filled with all good and pleasant riches” (Pr. 24:3-4).
